When considering a cruise vacation, this is a very good question. Cruise lines pre-book massive amounts of airline space. That allows you better access to air, and many cruise lines to convey its reasonable prices to passengers whose travel agents book through them. </ P> If you choose to make airline reservations on your own please select schedules that allow you enough time to get to the pier in time for departure on the day of your cruise travel. This applies in reverse leaves enough breathing space to get to the airport with enough time to make your return flight after your wonderful cruise. </ P> Two advantages of using the cruise line air condition is: </ p> With the purchase of airline tickets Cruise Line, you may also transfer to and from the airport to piren.Om your flight is delayed and will pass time of departure, cruise line assume responsibility for either delaying the departure of the ship or take you to the cruise ships first port of call.

You should let your travel agent book airline reservations through Cruise Line for safety reasons. This makes almost Cruise Line managers in the event of a flight or sailing delays or cancellations. Here is a cruise tip, for a small additional “air deviation” fee, most cruise lines try to book you on the airline or the flight of your choice. </ P> If you have frequent-flier miles be sure to book flights well in advance to ensure you arrive in time. When scheduling your flight home after the cruise, be sure to take into account the time disembarking from the ship and local transportation time to the airport. Leave plenty of time as some local airports are not as sophisticated as you could be used. And in today’s world, security make it even longer to board your flight to your cruise travel. </ P> You should arrive at least one day before the cruise vacation, especially if you fly a long distance to raise the vessel. That way, you can rest up and be ready to enjoy every moment of your cruise. You get the advantage of not having to worry about a delay or cancellation caused you to miss your cruise. This was the best cruise tip I have learned over the years. </ P> When you fly to your cruise vacation, you must consider the weight of baggage. Generally there are no limits on how much luggage you can take on board the ship, but remember that if your cruise vacation involves a flight, airlines have their own baggage restrictions. These vary on scheduled flights, depending on the airline and route. Note that the premium may be less on international flights. When you fly from New Zealand back to Miami after our millennium cruise vacation, Quanta airline was very strict about weight and charged us for was over. </ P> cruise lines will generally provide you with baggage tags that will be complementary to your personalized ID tags. The luggage tags will be included in your cruise documents typically arrive 2-3 weeks before your cruise vacation. </ P> Here are some cruise tips we have learned through our cruises. </ P> It is strongly suggested that you remove old labels Flights to eliminate any confusion by the airline. </ P> An additional weight Flight Bag takes up minimal space, it can be handy on the way home when you have more to do then be placed in your original luggage. </ P> Keep your travel documents, identification documents, medicines, valuables, a set of clean underwear, credit cards, cash and traveler’s checks on you or in your hand luggage. Horror stories about airline luggage is well known. </ P> When you travel outside the U.S. to pick up your cruise, make copies of your passport and cruise itinerary, place one set in each bag before checking them with the airline. This will ensure that your luggage will catch up to you at some point during your cruise vacation. </ P> After waiting in line or sitting at an airport has to always strap your hand luggage wrapped around an arm or a leg, then it is not going away without your knowledge. </ P> Be very careful with your calling cards in airports. People will stand behind you and watch where you point to the numbers. And much to your dismay, a month after your cruise trip, you get a huge phone bill. I know that it happened to me. I was not responsible for paying the bill, but it was a hassle. </ P> It is useful to take an overnight bag for the last night of your cruise vacation. Your cabin steward will collect all checked bags the night before disembarkation, sometime around midnight. If you have this small overnight bag you can use it for the clothes you wore the night before. And as I said, it comes in handy for packing of all the memories you picked up along the road. </ P> main cruise tip is to relax and enjoy your cruise vacation. You deserve it. </ P> Happy Cruising! </ P> Copyright © 2006 Mary Hanna All Rights Reserved. </ P> This article may be distributed freely on your website and in your ezines, as long as this entire article, copyright, links and resource box are unchanged. </ P>

think it is the first time in first class on an airplane. You have used a combination of frequent flyer miles from your spouse’s business travels and points earned through a rewards program with your credit card to book the two of you on a nonstop flight to a romantic destination for the weekend. You’re excited about your first time in first class with enough room to be comfortable and get extra benefits that exist with the prestigious seats.

as a flight attendant goes for the first time you ask him: “Excuse me, do you have any magazine I can watch.” He turns around and says: “I’m sorry. Have you not heard of 9 / 11, airlines in bankruptcy, employee layoffs, overworked flight attendants? Of
Of course, we have no newspapers. You should have brought your own. “You think yourself,” But I thought I was in first grade. I thought that I would have waited for the hands and feet. “Since your husband, who is a very frequent air traveler, you know that first class is not what it used to be.

Then, try to put up your tray only to discover that it is broken. It sits right in your lap, making it useless. When you point this out to the same flight attendant (actually, the only flight attendant it seems), he says you have to do something wrong. It is not broken. When you show him the break he says, “Huh” and walk away. You spend your trip with food in your lap and a big disappointment with your “first class” treatment.

This course is a true story relayed by a friend of mine, and one many air travelers can probably believe and most likely top. It seems that the service you get on an airline is not what it used to be, and most air travelers have learned to adapt. But what should you do if you met with rude airline employees or unacceptable amenities on the plane?

Complainant.

it would have done my friend no good to complain to the stewardess. He obviously does not care and probably was not in a position to change anything, even if he cared. So who should you complain and how does one go about this?

Situations like this is best to file a formal complaint with the airline after the air travel experience is done. The best way to file a formal complaint in writing, either by written letter or e-mail.

before writing your complaint, try to get at the airline’s passenger’s rights statement, often called a “conditions of carriage” or “contract of carriage” statement. It sets out the airline’s policy on how passengers should be treated. If you find that your treatment or situation against what is stated in their statement, it is best to take the letter. Copy the specific wording from their statement in your letter and convey exactly what your situation is in violation of their policies.

Your written complaint should be professional, factual and contain the following information:

</ p> Your flight information so that the airline knows exactly which flight you were on and the location where you put

Focused details about your complaint. Explain how it was and why it was just a problem for you. Include names of all airline employees who were rude, disrespectful, or simply aggravated the situation. Even if there were any employees who tried to make the situation better, but could not include their name also. Sometimes, your complaint has nothing to do with employee behavior.

Choose which parts of your experience to complain about and keep your letter to the point. In my friend’s case was the rudeness of the employee much bigger problem than the fact that there were no magazines available to passengers. The rudeness of the flight attendant would have been the focus of the event.

If you are a frequent traveler with the airline, state it in the letter. If the experience has made you rethink your relationship with the airline, the state also. It will get their attention.

Send a copy of your complaint to the Department of Transportation and the Aviation Consumer Action Project and let the airline know that you do so. This will also get their attention. The address for the Department of Transportation is 400 7thStreet SW, Room 4107, Washington, DC 20590th Address the letter to the attention Aviation Consumer Protection Division. The address of the Aviation Consumer Action Project is PO Box 19 029, 589 14 th Street NW, Suite 1265, Washington, DC 20036th

A detailed description of how you want the airline to go to remedy the situation. You can sue for damages, la frequent flyers miles to your account, discounts, free trips, or maybe just an excuse. Do not be greedy, though. Is an overworked, unhappy staff cut if no magazines worth a free ticket?

You might want to include a copy of your tickets, but do not ever send original documents.

Before you write a formal letter of complaint, you can try calling to complain and remedy your situation, but most experts agree that writing a formal letter of complaint is a very efficient way to get satisfaction from the airline.

If you have not heard from the airline within 30 days of your original complaint, send the message. This time send it by registered mail.

it is best to write and send your letters of complaint within a reasonable time, as close to Day for the flight as possible. Unfortunately for my friend with the disappointing first-class experience was the complaint that is heard from friends, but never by the airline. It is now one year previous experience and too much time has passed for the complaint, it appears important to either the passenger or airline.

In the case of air travel, a large number of people hit the sky on a daily basis. People fly for all different reasons. Some individuals need to make a business trip, others visiting friends or family, others go on vacation, and some do a cross country skier move. If you move, it is a good chance that you may need to take your pet with you. If so, you will notice that you are exposed to a whole new set of rules governing air travel. Before leaving for the airport, with your pet or pets in tow, you should famialrize you with these rules. </ P> The first step in the journey, in the air, with an animal is to ensure that they get even. Some pets are allowed to be on airplanes, but that does not mean that all airlines accept it. If you plan to travel with your pet, you must inform your airline that information immediately. This is important because not all airlines allow you to bring a pet onboard. Therefore, unless you check with your airline before heading to the airport, you may be unable to board your flight. </ P> When you travel with a pet, you must keep that pet contained. This means that if you travel with an animal, such as a dog or a cat, the animal will probably be needed in a carrier. When you buy an animal carrier, it is important to know that not all carriers are permitted onboard. If you keep animals in the cabin with you, as opposed to having your animal treated as checked baggage, you must ensure that your cage will not adversely affect other passengers. Your cage must not block aisle ways or encroach on other passenger seating areas. In addition to these general rules and restrictions, it is possible that each airline has its own set of rules cage. </ P> Almost all airlines require that your pet has the proper documents before they are allowed on their aircraft. These documents usually with information about your pet’s health. Most airlines require that your pet undergoes a medical assessment before being transported by air. This information is used not only to ensure that your pet is healthy enough to fly, but is also used to ensure that they are protected by the right vaccinations. Proper vaccinations will not only protect your pet, but also other passengers and airline staff. </ P> Once you have received clearance from the airline, you want to fly on, purchased the appropriate pet, and got the right check-ups for your pet, you must wait until your day of travel. The day you may want to get to the airport a bit earlier than recommended. This will help you to quickly straighten out a problem, but to miss your flight, should one occur. </ P> When you and your pet arrive at the airport, be it early or not, you will both have to go through airport security. Your pet will be required to pass through a metal detector, just like everyone else. If you use a cage, it is also likely that your pet carrier will be subject to review. This survey typically includes sent, even if X-ray machine with Carryon baggage, but it is important to note that your pet will not have to go through X-ray machine, the metal detector should be enough. </ P> As mentioned earlier, not all airlines allow their passengers to fly with their pets, even in the cabin or below deck. That is why we recommend that you determine if your pet can fly with you in advance. In addition to different air travel rules, you may also be that some airlines charge extra fees for pet passengers. In the event that you are charged, you will be notified of this fee in advance. </ P>

One of the major issues today with consumers in regards to air travel is the amount of lost baggage. Did you know that over 4 million bags a year are either lost, damaged or in some cases both? It is important to think about these things when preparing for take-off and included in this article are several tips to help secure your luggage while flying to your destination. I would first like to mention that over the holidays years ago my bag disappeared when the airline changed the ports on my flight. This was not a small change, but a change that had us traveling all over the Houston airport from one side to another before our flight took off for 15 minutes. Not fun. Of course, when we arrived at our destination a lot of people who were in the same situation as I myself had lost luggage, too. The lost baggage claim line was pretty long time that night at 23:00.
My luggage arrived, but about a week later. The only problem was that baggage from LAX was 90% discharged. All gifts and clothing (including my underwear) … gone. It is a known truth that the airlines really spend your luggage back to your address. Mine was a pretty interesting experience in which the man called the phone and told me to leave a note saying that it is ok to leave my bag outside my door if I would not be home when they decided to deliver my bag. I believe this is where the problem occurred when I would rather just picked me up from his seat, but the delivery people will not allow it. I do not know how it happened but I learned a valuable lesson. There are many little rules that airlines were to recover stolen baggage. Firstly, there are some things that they do not cover.
Items such as jewelry, electronics, furs and negotiable instruments not covered by the airlines if lost or stolen, so keep them with you on the plane. After that, all airlines have a different policy and many even higher priority to first class and fly over all others. When you get paid for the stolen item, it is in a depreciated value and many times they will require a receipt (in my case, receipts are required if items have been valued at $ 100 or more.) So what can travelers do to protect themselves from baggage problems? There are several things you can do, some more practical than others. First, and most obvious, would be simply to pack light and take your luggage on the plane with thee. Then would be to take the items you need to come shortly after the plane, such as toiletries and items needed for meetings or gifts for those you can go to visit. Remember these electronic devices, furs, jewelry and items not covered by the airlines if anything happens.
Identify your bag is another important thing to remember if you ever need to file a claim. So, always make sure your name and contact details are on the outside and inside the baggage tags on the bags would fall off and the airline needs to reach you. Take a quick picture of your bag before you check in, just in case something is broken or torn apart in flight. When you arrive at your destination, take a quick look inside the bag and make sure that nothing was skimmed off the top of the thieves who have access to your bags. Finally, if you really do not want to check in bags and have some extra money, you can always deliver luggage overnight via FedEx or luggage concierge. I know it seems a bit exaggerated, but all have preferred methods and many people actually pay $ 50 or so it costs just to have that security and their luggage be delivered to their door. One of about 150 passengers has ever a problem with a mishandled bag last year. So if there is one thing to remember is always a good idea to simply take care of your baggage, especially during the holidays and have a good flight. </ P>

all not been on a flight before, his first time through the airport can be a confusing and tax law experience. It is inflexible rules to follow, to stand in queues and lots of people to move around. If this is your first time flying, will a number of important air travel tips make the experience safer, less demanding and will help a person to get from his home to his destination without a problem.

get there early:

One of the most compelling hints air travel is one that will help a person to make up for all the other problems on the road, to reach the airport before time. Most airports do not let a person get a boarding pass if he does not show up for at least 30 minutes before his flight. He has to go through security. Most people who fly suggest arriving at least two hours earlier on the flight departure time. Nobody wants to get stuck in the middle of the safety line when his plane leaves the gate.

Pack Light:

Although every person’s definition of packing light is personal, this is another of the tips that make air travel experience comfortable. Rather than trying to deal with the largest cabin bag a must pack a small bag with a book, some magazines, or what one needs in his flight, and pack a second bag with which to validate. If your bag is small, you can comfortably fit under the seat in front, so that you get on and off the flight easier.

eat before airport:

In this set of tips for air travel, which is that your wallet will be happy about the most: one should eat before he goes to the airport. Many airports have a unique variety of companies in their terminals so you can take a bite to eat while waiting for his flight. But mostly, it has fast food, which is spicy, greasy and expensive too. Relax

course over all other air travel tips, is whether it should relax when flying. All the questions that need to meet at the airport, check-in process, the long security lines and so on, add up to a flying experience that is reliable than ever before. Airline employees and airport staff do everything they can to take the anxiety out of a pretty hectic experience, so be sure that accidents will decrease. </ P>

The vacation is a time when many people travel, and that leads to the dilemma of what to do with family pets. Many choose to bring them together because they do not have to take care of them and they do not want to place them in a dog kennel during their whole holiday.Traveling with your pet on vacation can be a pleasant experience if you are prepared. Otherwise, turn into a nightmare because of the care your pets need and where to stay. If you are visiting family or friends on vacation you really need to make sure they are comfortable with you giving you pet along.Keep in mind that most hotels do not allow you to have pets in your room. Make sure you look into this information before you secure your reservation. The hotel provides you the right to bring pets, you will charge you a deposit sake of your pet destroys something in the room during your stay. Most airlines will make accommodations for your pet to travel in the plane, but they must be secured in a carrier. This can be very stressful for pets used to roaming freely. They must fly in the luggage compartment on the plane unless the airline, small cats and small dogs to be placed under your seat throughout the flight. If you are planning to place your pet in a carrier, let them get used to in the weeks prior to your travel plans for the holiday. In this way, they will not be so overwhelmed by the concept is the carrier for the duration of the flight. This can be very traumatic for your pet and you do not want them to hurt themselves during the flight.Keep in mind that they will charge you more if your pet is on board the plane with you instead of cargo. Yet this is a great way to ensure your pet is well cared for while you are traveling for the holidays. If you have a connecting flight, but you will definitely want to keep your pet on board with you. The risk of losing your pet this way really put a damper on the holiday festivities. You will not be able to take your pet with you on the bus or train routes due to their strict guidelines. The only exception to this rule is eye dogs that do not give them on board is a crime under the Americans with Disabilities Act. As a result, many people traveling with pets on holiday decide to take their own vehicle.Make sure you have plenty of food and water for them so they can stay hydrated and healthy. If you travel by car, you must plan to stop often for them to exercise and use the bathroom. It’s a good idea to bring their favorite toys or blankets to minimize their stress during travel.Pay close attention to the weather for your holiday travel as it can be quite a change for your pet. They are likely used for their normal environment and may have problems coping with extreme heat or extreme cold.It is very possible to travel with your pet for the holidays, but it takes a lot of planning. You want them to be as comfortable as possible without affecting your ability to enjoy the journey for the holidays too. Although you may want to have your pet with you carefully consider the decision. If you find that travel conditions will not be right for them then find a quality kennel for them to stay so you can enjoy your holiday.
