There are many activities to enjoy while in town. They have a first class, world-famous zoo in Balboa Park. The Old Town State Historic Park to learn about the history of California. Near the center are 15 excellent museums and beautiful gardens. A little further up north is Long Beach just 20 miles south of Los Angeles. Try to stay a few days to explore the riches Anchorage has to offer. It is the beautiful Denali National Park, where Mt. McKinney offers spectacular views. In Seward you can take a cruise to Kenai Fjords as a day trip. All these cruise ports makes a good start for your cruise vacation.
